Family Office Core
A private workspace that brings a family’s bank accounts, accounting, office mail, and shared documents together, so the family can ask questions about them through Claude.
Family Office Core connects, with the family’s authorization, to the financial and document sources a family office already uses. It reads that information into a workspace that belongs to one family only, and lets the family’s authorized members ask questions about it through Claude, the AI assistant made by Anthropic.
Family Office Core is operated by Ephod Advisory LLC. It is currently a pilot service, available to invited families.
What it connects, and why
- Bank accounts Financial institutions, through Plaid Account details, balances, and transactions for the accounts the family chooses to connect, used to report on cash and to match bank activity against the books and documents. Read-only: the service cannot move money or make payments.
- Accounting QuickBooks Online, through Intuit Chart of accounts, accounting transactions, and standard financial reports for the companies the family connects, used to reconcile the books against bank and document records. Read-only: the service does not create or change anything in QuickBooks.
- Office mail Gmail, read-only Only the family office mailbox the family authorizes, and only the messages that match the search, label, or senders set up for the family’s workspace, used to find notices, statements, and correspondence the family asks about. The service cannot send, change, or delete mail.
- Documents A shared Google Drive, read-only Files in the shared drive the family chooses to add the workspace to, used to answer questions about agreements, reports, and tax documents. The service cannot change or delete files.
How it works
- Each family has its own workspace, with its own database, connection credentials, and knowledge index, kept separate from every other family’s.
- Connected information is indexed by Adapter, a knowledge-platform provider working on our behalf, so it can be searched and used to answer questions.
- Authorized members ask questions through Claude. Claude sends the question to Family Office Core, which returns the relevant information from that family’s workspace only.
- The service is read-only against every connected source. It does not make payments, execute trades, file documents, or change records in any connected account.
- A family can disconnect any source at any time: from the Connections page after signing in, at the provider, or by contacting us.
What it is not
Family Office Core organizes and retrieves a family’s own information. It does not give financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. AI-generated answers can be incomplete or wrong, so check them against the source records and have a qualified professional review anything you intend to rely on.

Family Office Core’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The Privacy Policy explains exactly what Google data the service reads, how it is used, and how to revoke access.
